OCTOBER ISSUE OUT NOW

The new issue of Critical Communications Today features not just one but a pair of exclusive interviews with two of the most influential personalities currently operating in the sector.

The first of these can be found on page 10, where Emergency Services Network programme director John Black provides an update on the progress which has been made since he arrived at the UK Home Office in July of last year. It’s a wide-ranging conversation, taking in changes in relation to the technology, as well as cultural change within the ESMCP programme itself.

Our second exclusive begins on page 30, on which can be found an interview with Kevin Graham, who has been appointed as new TCCA CEO, taking over from Tony Gray, who is retiring at the end of this year. Graham is a massively respected figure across the sector, and has some compelling things to say, both about his plans for TCCA, and how he believes the industry is going to evolve going into the future.

Other articles in this issue meanwhile include James Atkinson’s feature exploring the use of broadband by the utilities sector (page 14), as well as a report on the roll-out of satellite-based comms to a COVID-19 field testing centre in Italy (page 24).

Coming back to the subject of TCCA, one final thing to mention is the preview for its upcoming Critical Communications World 2021 event, which can be found at the end of the issue. Turn to page 31 to find out all you need to know about the show, including the conference schedule, speaker profiles and interviews, and more.
